Privacy policy
Who we are, what data this website collects and what rights you have. In plain words.
Data controller
Data collected through this website is processed by Camping Nettuno S.r.l.s., Via Lacco Ameno 3, 92100 San Leone, Agrigento (Italy) — VAT IT03075460844.
For any privacy question: info@campingagrigento.com or +39 350 033 0002.
What data we collect, and why
The enquiry form
In the form you enter your dates, how many of you there are, what you are coming with and, if you like, a message, your name and your email. If you choose WhatsApp, the message is sent from your phone through WhatsApp; if you choose email, our server emails it to us. We use this data only to reply to you and handle your enquiry or booking. Legal basis: pre-contractual measures at your request. We keep the correspondence for as long as needed to manage your stay and meet tax obligations.
WhatsApp and phone
If you message us on WhatsApp or call, the contact happens at your initiative through those services (WhatsApp belongs to Meta). We use your details only to reply.
Advertising
We advertise on Google. Only if you agree in the banner, Google Ads measures how many people message us on WhatsApp after seeing one of our ads. No profiling and no personalised advertising.
Check-in
On arrival we collect the ID details required by Italian law for accommodation providers (guest notification) and for the tourist tax.
Cookies
When you first visit, the site asks whether you accept Google Ads cookies: you can accept or refuse, and the site works the same either way. Your choice is saved in your browser for six months: it is a technical setting, not a tracking cookie.
If you accept, Google Ads uses the _gcl_au cookie (90 days) and its own cookies on Google domains, to link the contact to the ad. If you refuse, Google is not even loaded. More in Google’s privacy policy.
You can change your mind at any time: .
Third-party services
The site uses Google Ads (only if you accept cookies), WhatsApp/Meta (only if you choose to message us) and Google Maps (only if you open the map from our link). Fonts and photos are on our own server: the site does not call other sites. It is hosted by SiteGround on servers in the European Union, which also deliver to us the requests made with the email form.
Your rights
You can ask us at any time to see, correct or delete your data, to limit its use or to object to processing. Just email info@campingagrigento.com: we reply within thirty days. You may also complain to the Italian data protection authority (Garante, gpdp.it).
